CHOCOLATE DIPPED STRAWBERRIES
Shoutout to @LittleGlutard for providing this easy 1-2-3 recipe. Pretty straight forward for all of you Betty-Crocker-esque cookers (by this I mean those of us who prefer 'just adding water' to bake things). So here is how it goes.
1. Get the GF certified chocolate of your preference. White, dark, milk, semi-sweet, 99% : just any. Place it on a bowl.
2. Melt the chocolate in the microwave for a few minutes until melted and make sure to stir it every 30 seconds. You can also boil it on the stove stop with boiling water underneath the bowl but do not let any water get into the chocolate because it makes it lumpy.
3. Add a teaspoon of oil to the chocolate. It makes it smoother.
4. Get the strawberries. Wash and dry them, making sure that they are completely dry.
5. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Hold the strawberries by the stem and dip them in the chocolate, turning them until they are completely covered with chocolate.
6. Place on the baking paper.
* If you are using white chocolate as well, grab out a few pieces of glad wrap layered on top of each other and pour the white chocolate onto the glad wrap. Use glad wrap as a piping bag and cut a small hole in the bottom. Coat the strawberries in white chocolate *
7. Put strawberries in fridge to set for a few hours. Like, 5 hours. If you're too impatient, try 2 hours in the freezer.
