CURRIED CHICKEN RECIPE


Chicken, Curried Chicken.

Thanks to @aglutenfreelife for this detailed recipe! If you can't see how amazing this looks, I don't know what game you are playing. What is the most surprising is that the recipe is really easy. Yes, you will need a feeeew ingredients, but it's totally worth it.

2 tbsp coconut oil

2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts

1 small onion, chopped

Salt & pepper

2 tbsp minced garlic

1 tsp minced ginger

2 tbsp curry powder

2 tsp ground turmeric

1/2 tsp West Indian hot pepper

sauce (or more if you use milder sauce) or 1/2 of a hot pepper

1 tbsp water

1 green pepper, sliced or chopped

1 red pepper, sliced or chopped

1 yellow pepper, sliced or chopped

2 tbsp 2% plain Greek yogurt

1. In a large skillet, over medium high heat, sauté the chicken and onion in the melted coconut oil, with salt and pepper. Sauté until the chicken is cooked and the onions start to brown.

2. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.

3. Reduce the heat to medium.

4. Add all spices, hot pepper and water, continue for a few minutes. Also, add the pepper strips.

5. Continue to cook for about 5 mins until peppers start to wilt.

6. Stir in yogurt and serve with rice, or on it's own.

Get 2 slices of bread, one banana, and a knife.

Slice banana into tiny pieces while bread is toasting.
